Chapters & Affiliates

The TSFC is comprised of a volunteer Board of Directors representing various regions across the country. In addition, the TSFC is represented through agreements of affiliation by local Chapters, Resource Units, and/or Contact Representatives.

The differences between these units are the formalization of structure where our Chapters are required to adopt the policies and bylaws of the national foundation and operate with structured meetings, elections of officers and formal lines of reporting. The Resources Units and Contact Representatives promote the mission and vision of the national foundation but with much less structure.

A primary benefit of these units within local communities across Canada is for the support provided to families and people newly diagnosed with TS.
