    Workplace Study Survey

This survey is for anyone who has Tourette Syndrome, is over the age of 18 and has been employed outside of the home. Through your answers, we will be better able to provide employment advice to people with Tourette and offer improved education to employers.

Click here to take the survey.

It is being conducted by the TSFC and Professor Marshall David Rice of York University in Toronto. All answers to this survey are strictly confidential and the final results will only be reported in aggregate form. If you have any questions regarding the survey, please contact Lynn McLarnon at lynn@tourette.ca or Professor Rice at 416-650-8241 or mdrice@schulich.yorku.ca.

    Virtual Community Project

The ViCTor Project is a multi-component program that will provide much needed supports and resources to individuals and families living with TS, in areas that are not supported by a TSFC Chapter or Resource Unit, or who have other barriers that prevent them from accessing support services in their own communities. It is currently in development and will roll out over three years (2014-2016).

    Advocacy To The Rescue

Advocacy To The Rescue is an e-learning course designed specifically for parents of school-age children with Tourette Syndrome, and the feedback so far has been overwhelmingly positive. The TS community is seeing an increase in powerful parent advocates!

Help Build the Great Wall of Tics

The Great Wall of Tics is the world’s first online collection of tics created entirely by people with TS around the world. It’s truly a community project, and we need your help to make it grow. If you have a tic you’d like to share or know someone who does, go to www.walloftics.org. It’s really easy to take part: Just click on the Submit Your Tic button, enter a name and description for your tic, then click Submit. That’s all there is to it. You can add as many different tics as you’d like. You can also ‘like’ the tics that are already there or leave a comment. Don’t forget to tell your friends!

Ken H.

"Those interviews to become a police officer were a real obstacle. I'm thankful that the TSFC was there with good advice on how to handle the issue of disclosure."
